Give Civil Servants the K1500 salary increment as promised-EF

As Economic Front, we want to salute the civil servants for refusing the proposed K550 Salary increment by the UPND government during salary negotiation.

The civil servants should instead remind UPND Government campaign promises of increasing salaries for all civil servants by K1,500 across the board.

UPND has ruled for more than 2 year’s but surprisingly failed to honour his campaign promise of hiking salaries for civil servants across the board.

As a party, we want to tell the UPND govt that it is mockery and an insult to increase civil servants salary by K550 when the costs of living and production has tripled thus making the lives of civil servants and the general public miserable.

Lastly, we urge the civil servants to remain united and demand the K1,500 salary increment from President Hakainde Hichilema which he promised during campaign.

UPND should honour its promises and ensure working conditions are improved to motivate civil servants.
