A-15-year-old girl of Itezhi-tezhi has died suddenly after the walls of the well she was drawing water from collapsed and buried her.
Acting Police Spokesperson Danny Mwale said that a grade Five pupil at Nkobo Primary School in Itezhi tezhi, whilst in the company of her two siblings left home to go and fetch water.
Mr Mwale said it was during the process of drawing water that the incident happened on November 2, 2020 around 08 hours.
He said the body of the deceased was retrieved by members of the community in the same village.
Mr Mwale said Police visited the scene and suspected no foul play, the deceased has since been buried.
