A soldier died today. General Benjamin Mibenge passed on and Zambia is poorer for his departure from this earth.
He served as army commander, diplomat, gentleman. He put Zambia first, above all personal consideration.
I had nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for the General. My sincerest condolences to Auntie Joyce and the entire family. May God be with you at this difficult time
