FS Musonda, Emmanuel Gardner go unopposed at Chamber of Commerce

Chingola renowned businessman Freddie Simfukwe Musonda popularly known as FS Musonda has been re-elected the President of the Chingola Chamber of Commerce.

And Yellow Quip Owner Emmanuel Gardner was equally re-elected as the First Vice President of the Chamber.

The duo went unopposed at the annual general meeting held at Protea hotel over the weekend to signal the confidence the fellow members have in them.

The financial guru of the Copperbelt University Fanwell Musonda who is also owner of Wellma Enterprises Limited comes in as the new Second vice President after serving diligently as the Treasurer of the chamber.

Libonji proprietor Dosha Mulenga comes in as the new committee member.

Other committee members are Chanda Chikashi of Chingola Holdings, Stephen Mubanga of Mining Haulage, Krupal Patel of Atheneon Wholesalers, Abel Kangasa of Silicon Electronics and Fridah Chanda of Yombe Enterprises.

The Chamber will assimilate Mulonga Water and Sewerage, Sulzer Zambia, Epiroc, Banks and many other companies to strengthen the chamber.

Speaking after being re-elected, Mr Musonda the proprietor of FS Musonda Trading Chingola is economically in the tight corner.

But assured the members that despite the economic hardships, the chamber did very well in the previous year.

He said that during times of economic hardship is when businesses are supposed to come together for common goal of surviving the turbulence.
