Police in Lusaka have officially charged and arrested Fredrick Chulu 30, for three counts of the offence of use of Insulting language.
Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said Chulu of Hellen Kaunda in Lusaka on May 12 and 13, 2022, at unknown time and place in Lusaka, the suspect appeared in three separate videos on Facebook.
Mr Hamoonga said the video circulating on social media where he was using insulting language and conducting himself in a manner likely to provoke any person as to cause such person to break the public peace or to commit an offence against the person.
He said the suspect has been detained in Police custody and will appear in court soon.
