Former Solwezi Mayor Brian Kajoba says that the former fourth Republican President Rupiah Banda has left a legacy behind which should be honored by all.
Mr Kajoba said the late president played a significant role in the smooth transition of power from the time he lost election in 2011 and the just ended general election in 2021.
He also said that the leadership of late President should be carried on by the current Leaders.
Mr Kajoba that the leadership for late President intervened into the local government management which saw Solwezi Municipal Council embarking on Developmental projects such as working on some selected Township roads.
He said Zambia has lost a statesman who provided counsel to leaders and he provided leadership during the transition of power in the last election in 2021.
He has however called on the people of Zambia to emulate the leadership of late President Rupiah Banda.
