Former Musenga ward Counillor interred

Former Musenga Ward Councilor Peter Kapumba has been put to rest in Chingola.

Mr Kapumba 80, served as Councillor and at the same time as Deputy Chingola Mayor from 2002 to 2006 he was Councillor from FDD party.

He was also Vice Chairperson for Nchanga rangers in the 80s, where he took the team to heights.

And Chingola Mayor Johnson Kang’ombe has described Mr Kapumba as a selfless man of integrity who served the council diligently.

Mr Kang’ombe said he was a unifier and he ensured that he worked hand in hand with the present Mayor then.

He said Mr Kapumba worked hard to contribute to the development of Chingola.

The Mayor said Mr Kapumba should be emulated as he led the path for the people and family of following the Lord

Mr Kang’ombe said he was a peaceful person who loved working to serve the people.
