After staying out of action for a month, Super Division side Forest Rangers will today return to action when they host Zanaco in a Super Division rescheduled Week Seven at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium this afternoon.
The Ndola side have been inactive for almost a month as most of their opponents were engaged in continental matches.
Forest coach Tenant Chembo said despite the team not playing for a month they have been busy preparing for upcoming matches.
“We have not been playing for long and we are going to have a catch up game. Games in hand are not points in the bag, we have to labour for them and work hand towards them. When you look at the team and the standing on the log, each and every week the league is changing, it’s easy to go up but how to stay there,” he said.
A busy schedule of four matches in 11 days awaiting his side, Chembo is adamant Forest will pull through because they have prepared so well.
Fresh from being eliminated from the CAF Champions League by Al Merreikh of Sudan, Zanaco will be looking to register their second victory of the season in Ndola.
Zanaco dropped into the CAF Confederation Cup were they have been drawn against Binga FC of Mali.
Forest will be playing in-front of their fans for the first time since the ban on playing the matches behind closed doors was lifted.
