Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) president Andrew Kamanga has announced that the association will continue organising test matches between Chipolopolo and select sides.
Kamanga was responding to questions from reporters in Lusaka after Chipolopolo drew 1-1 against the Wedson Nyirenda coached select side picked by fans.
The FAZ boss hailed the friendly match saying it was part of FAZ’s initiative to give fans a say in the selection of national team players.
“It’s been a good exercise,” Kamanga told journalists in a lengthy post match interview.
“This is an ongoing programme for all national teams. We are not just looking at CHAN but future assignments as well,” he said.
Kamanga further commented on the possibility of adding coach Nyirenda to the National Team technical bench.
“As at now the technical bench remains the way it is, of course we will give an opportunity for everyone to be heard,” he said.
