The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has appointed Sydney Mungala as acting Communications Manager.
This follows the exit of Mwazi Chanda who is on administrative leave.
Mungala has served as Digital Media Officer at FAZ from February 2017 to date.
He has also been producing content for the FAZ online platforms that includes Facebook, Twitter and the Website.
He holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Media and Communication Studies from the University of Zambia and a Diploma in Journalism from Evelyn Hone College.
Mungala also served as sports journalist at The Post Newspapers from 2006 to 2011 and later joined the Bulletin&Record Magazine.
FAZ is hopeful that Mungala will use his experience in the sports fraternity to help promote the image of the association.
This is according to a media statement made available by FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala.
