Fathi back at the ‘Hoffice’

By CHINOYI CHIPULU
Napsa Stars coach Mohamed Fathi is back in office after being away on a compassionate leave for nine days.

Fathi who lost his father last month was granted leave by the club on March 13, 2021.

The Egyptian trainer had no time to mourn with the family as the Pensioners had crucial CAF Confederation and Super Division engagements.

Napsa confirmed the return of Fathi to duty in a posting on their Facebook page, which was accompanied by the images of the coach and his assistants taking the players through their paces.

“It’s Monday and our coach is back in office. Good to have you back coach Fathi,” read the post.

Assistant Kampamba Chintu acted as interim coach during Fathi’s absence.

During that period Napsa drew 2-all with Algerian side JS Kabylie at National Heroes Stadium last Wednesday.

The return of Fathi is a morale booster to the team as they prepare to face Buildcon in a Super Division encounter next month.
