A-70-year old man of Kabwe has allegedly been axed by his own son using an axe on suspicion that he was a wizard.
Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo said Wina Muwowo 34 allegedly used an axe in the act and the victim sustained a deep cut on the head.
Ms Katongo said the suspect is on the run after leaving a suicide note indicating that he was going to commit suicide.
She said a man hunt has been launched.
Ms Katongo said the incident is reported to have occurred on 14th January, 2021 around 16:30 hours.
