Chipolopolo striker Fashion Sakala on Sunday scored a goal when his Scottish Premiership side Rangers FC thrashed Livingston 3-1 in the away league match.
This was Sakala’s goal number five in the Scottish League.
Sakala was a second half substitute on Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s first league match in charge of Rangers.
Sakala headed in Rangers’ third in the 78th minute, just five minutes after replacing Ryan Kent.
Rangers coach Bronckhorst hailed Sakala’s goal.
“The header from Sakala was a relief when it came at the time that it did,” he reacted in a post-match interview.
Sakala has established himself at Rangers since signing a four-year deal from Belgian side KV Oostende at the start of the 2021/22 season.
