President Hakainde Hichilema has called on the Diplomatic Corps to facilitate investment linkages of mutual benefit to the country.
President Hichilema said Government remains committed to the transformation of the economy by reviving, restoring and repairing the financial system for the benefit of all Zambians.
President Hichilema also said that democracy and rule of law are important, but that they should create a platform for economic development and an opportunity for the people to better their lives.
He said that the rule of law and democracy are important but they must create committed relationships that contribute to transforming the economy.
Mr Hichilema explained that Zambia’s foreign policy will take emphasis on the economy, peace, security and stability to further the country’s development.
The President commended the Diplomatic corps for the support rendered to the country especially during the last general election.
This during the Annual Presidential Greeting of the Diplomatic corps at State House held yesterday.
