Embrace peace political players urged

Former Kabwata Member of Parliament Given Lubinda has urged all political players to be the beacon of peace in this year’s campaigns.

Speaking in an interview, Mr Lubinda said that political players must follow the advice of President Edgar Lungu to be issue best in their campaign’s and avoid violence.

Mr Lubinda said that the issue of violence is caused by people who can not express their ideas in an intelligent manner hence they resort into violence.

“The Patrotic Front Members have got a lot of things to talk about in our Constitution and they will not run out ideas compared to these other parties, us even a poster has got a message on it,” he said.

He also said that the law should be followed whether bad or good and those who break it must be punished.

Mr Lubinda said that political players must follow the directive from President Lungu by complying with the law because it is In the public order act.

He said it is shameful to those who shot down bill ten to complain now.
