The Engineering Council is saddened by the death of Eng Jackson Sikamo who passed away today June 27, 2019 in South Africa.
Eng Sikamo was a member and fellow of the Engineering Institution of Zambia.
He served as a committee member on the Committee of Technical Expects and chaired the Committee on Mentorship and Apprenticeship.
Eng Sikamo went to Chingola Secondary School, and later studied Mineral Engineering at University of Birmingham.
He once served as Concentrator Superintendent at Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines, Manager Metallurgical at Konkola Copper Mines Plc and served as Board Chairman and Country Manager at Chibuluma Mines PLC until his untimely death.
Council consoles the family of the late Eng Sikamo and wishes them God’s strength during this time of mourning.
