Patriotic Front (PF) Kankoyo parliamentary aspiring candidate Ed Chomba has commissioned a Solar Water Scheme which he donated to Chibolya Primary School in Mufurila.

The solar water scheme which gobbled K58, 000 will benefit both the pupils and the community.

Chibolya Primary school has been without water supply for two years making learners to be reporting for lessons with water in containers.

Bishop Chomba said water is important to the livelihood of the people and in other sectors.

He has called on politicians not to be politicking the developmental projects that have been undertaken at the school.

He said a solar water scheme will improve water reticulation to the school and to the community at large.

The Head teacher Bridget Chilufya was pleased with the kind gesture portrayed by Bishop Chomba to ensure that the water blues is a thing of the past.

“As a school we would like to thank Bishop Chomba for this gesture because water has been a challenge at Chibolya and it was not safe for the leaners especially in this time of covid-19 pandemic,” Ms Chilufya said.

Mufulira Chibolya Primary School water blues has become a thing of the past after the donation.
