ECZ guides on exam fees

The Examination Council of Zambia ( ECZ) has given a three week ultimatum to School Head teachers and Candidates Countrywide to conclude with Registration for examination classes.

ECZ Director Michael Chilala says the Council will not extend the closing date for examination registration after it closes on February 28, 2022.

Dr Chilala said Candidates that will not be registered by the set date announced will not be allowed to sit for the 2022 examination.

Dr Chilala said so far more than 2-hundred and 21-thousand Candidates have been registered for the 2022 examination.

Dr Chilala said Public and grant aided Schools are not supposed to pay for examination fees as Government will cater for them.

He said that private schools are expected to pay 60- Kwacha for Grade 7s, One hundred and 60 Kwacha for Grade 9s and 4-hundred and 40 Kwacha for Grade 12s.
