Economic Front Calls for Action Against Threats and Insults Against Former President Lungu

The Economic Front, under the leadership of President Wynter Kabimba, is calling on the police to investigate and take appropriate action against individuals who have made threats and insults against former President Edgar Changwa Lungu.

Specifically, we request that the Inspector General, Mr. Graphel Musamba, look into the actions of UPND Deputy National Youth Chairperson Trevor Mwiinde, North Western Province Chairperson Bruce Kanema, and Kebaza Ward Councillor Moses Kokela.

We believe that all individuals, regardless of political affiliation, should be able to express their opinions without fear of violence or intimidation. We urge President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND leadership to take responsibility for ensuring that their members refrain from making threats and insults against others.

We also encourage all Zambians to promote peaceful and respectful dialogue, even in the face of political differences. Let us work together to build a society that values tolerance and understanding. In the upcoming 2026 elections, we hope to see a peaceful and democratic process that reflects the will of the people.”
