A-13-year old girl of Kalilo in Chingola has been sexually defiled following her beer drinking spree within the same community.
Facts before the Chingola Magistrate Kalutwe Chiluba are that the victim went to some shops at Kalilo with a friend where she had four bottles of beer.
But after a drinking spree round she couldn’t find her friend so she decided to go home alone.
On her way home On July 8, this year around 20:00 hours she found the boy 17, who took her behind the shop and had canal knowledge of her.
Later they were caught pants down by the members of the community.
The boy was then arrested and charged with sexual defilement the offence which was amended to indecent assault when it came for reading of facts.
The named boy has since been found guilty of sexually assaulting a juvenile.
In reading the facts, Magistrate Mr Chiluba said the evidence of the prosecution was credible proving the case beyond doubt that the juvenile did commit the offence.
He found the boy guilty and convicted him accordingly.
The matter has been adjourned to September 25, for Social Warfare report and possible sentencing.
