Donate to the vulnerable-SDA church

The Seventh Day Adventist Church (SAD)in Mufulira has called on Citizens across the country to seriously look after the vulnerable old people in society.

The church made a donation of assorted items to Chibolya home of the aged among them Covid-19 protective gear , mealie meal and many other domestic products.

Speaking during the donation, SDA Mufulira East Pastor Wellington Zemba said the church should be in the fore front of making sure that citizens who are in orphanages are well looked after especially in time’s like these when the country is badly hit with the Covid-19 pandemic.

“To be a real Christian we need to help people in society especially the old people and the vulnerable, we take this step so the we can share with the aged and poor in society,” he said.

Mr Zimba said that there are a lots of blessings in giving hence the need to extend the hand to people who are in need.

While, Chibolya old people’s home In charge Jonathan Maluza has thanked the Church for the donation.
Mr Maluza has appealed to other organizations to emulate the SDA Church.
