The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has unveiled fixtures for the four promotion chasing Division One teams with National Assembly taking on Kabwe Youth Academy while Young Green Eagles will play Kansanshi Dynamos.
According to fixtures availed by the Zambia Premier League (ZPL) interim manager Brian Mulenga, Zone One winners National Assembly will be away to Kabwe Youth Academy (Zone Four) while Zone Three winners Young Green Eagles will host Kansanshi Dynamos (Zone Two) on July 6.
Matches will be played on a two legged format that will see teams play home and away with first legs on July 6 while deciding matches will be held a week later.
Kabwe Youth Academy will play its home match at President’s Stadium while National Assembly will use Miller Grounds.
Young Green Eagles will use Nkhosa Stadium while Kansanshi Dynamos will play their home fixture from Independence Stadium.
Mulenga said that the rules for the playoffs will see goal aggregate as the first option for determining the winner over two legs while away goals rule will also apply where the first option falls off.
Where all other options provide a tie post-match spot-kicks will be used.
The winners of the playoffs will gain promotion to the Super League while the losers of the Playoffs will contest the 2019-2020 Samuel Zoom Ndhlovu Charity Shield scheduled for August 10, 2019.
