Rainbow Party has disputed the news reported by Hot FM radio station that the party is considering dissolving it to be not true.
Rainbow Party National Spokesperson Humphrey Kabwe said that Wynter Kabimba did not mentioned that during the interviews.
He said what was reported is a total misinterpretation of facts and the news should be ignored by the party members and the general public.
Mr Kabwe said the SG explained that the central committee met last month and a number of suggestions were made and the central committee considered several options either going for an election or forming an alliance with other political parties.
Mr Kabwe also said the committee resolved to take the matter to the district and provincial committees for more debate and what will come out of the district and provincial committee’s is what the central committee will adopt.
“The party is very much alive and we are proud of the effort our General Secretary has put in place to raise up a revolutionary team that believes Zambians are the only ones that can develop this country through the socialist agenda,” Mr Kabwe said.
He said the reporting from HOT FM radio station is misleading and unacceptable.
Mr Kabwe has urged the media houses to be reporting correctly and factual.
