President Hakainde Hichilema yesterday fired Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) Director General Musonda Simwayi.
And President Hichilema has appointed Mary Chirwa as new Director General of the Drug Enforcement Commission.
In a statement issued by Presidential Spokesperson Anthony Bwalya, Mr Hichilema said that Ms Chirwa brings a wealth of experience to the institution in areas of financial analysis and investigation.
He also wished Ms Chirwa God’s blessings in her new role.
