The body of a-42-year-old man of Ndola who went missing a month ago has been recovered at Ngwenya dam, Nkwazi Overspill and Police suspect he committed suicide.
Michael Chilufya 42 of house No. 181 Senior Township Ndola went missing on June 10, 2022 around 19:00hours and was found July 28, 2022 around 1100 hours.
Copperbelt Police Acting Commanding officer Sharon Zulu said Bridget Chilufya 40, reported that the body of her husband who went missing has been found at Ngwenya dam located in Nkwazi Township.
Ms Zulu said the body was identified as the husband to the reporter and was retrieved and buried at Kawama cemetery, Ndola . She said an inquiry file for further investigations into the matter has been opened.
