Dangote Donates 1200 bags of cement to NDL Teaching hospital

Dangote cement Zambia has donated 1,200 bags of cement to aid at the ongoing road rehabilitation works at Ndola Teaching hospital.

Speaking during the official Handover ceremony, Company Chief Executive Officer Vipul Agrawal said he saw it fit to participate in the road construction efforts because of the company’s dedication to improving the lives of the community.

Mr Agrawal added his company has also offered technical support for the project that will see vital road infrastructure last at least for 50 years.

And speaking at the same event Ndola district commissioner Joseph Phiri thanked Dangote for the donation stating that it will go a long way in creating a positive effect in the community at the second largest hospital in the country.

Mr Phiri further urged other business entities in the district to emulate Dangote company Limited Zambia adding that the door for donating building materials remains open.

And Copperbelt Provincial Health officer Charles Mwinuna has since appealed to the company to continue making more donations for building materials in order to ensure that the road rehabilitation works are concluded before the onset of the rains.
