Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary for Technical Services, Dr Kennedy Malama said that the vaccination program is voluntary and no individual, workplace or any other institution should force or force others to be vaccinated.
Dr Malama said this will not be tolerated as the vaccination program in Zambia remains voluntary.
And, Dr Malama said that the progressive scenario seen in the country gives great confidence that we are on course in bringing the Covid-19 third wave under control soon.
“We have continued with monitoring and enforcement of the public health and social directives in our communities, we administered 12,794 Dose 1 and 245 Dose 2 AstraZeneca vaccinations as well as 6,585 doses of Johnson and Johnson,” he said.
