Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo says one person suspected to be one of the masterminds coordinating the gas attacks has been arrested on the Copperbelt.
And Kampyongo says two of the 26 suspects in the gassing incidences that are appearing in court have been charged under the anti-terrorism act.
He says the two suspects, who have been charged under the Anti-Terrorism Act have also been charged with murder.
Mr Kampyongo also informed the media that that police officers are on the ground in Mafinga and Milenje Districts which had some unrest due to force alarms.
He also warned individuals that are using social media to create false stories that medical personnel are drawing blood from victims of gassing .
Speaking at the same event General Education Minister David Mabumba assured parents that the pupils in school are safe .
He said the school authorities are working with the police to enhance security.
And Chief government Spokesperson Dora Siliya said government is doing everything possible to bring the incidences to an end.
