The Zambia Federation of Disability Organization-ZAFOD-Federal Director Justin Mbakali is optimistic that President Hakainde Hichilema will consider appointing people living with disabilities as he proceeds with his appointments.
Mr Bbakali said that the organization want to see people living disabilities included in the governance of the country.
“We are waiting patiently to hear all the appointments by his Excellency Hakainde Hichilema, we know that the president has the power and the choice to appoint his cabinets and the people he wants, but we will be grateful if he include people with disabilities in the Governance of the country,” he said.
He said he still hope that the president will keep to his words of holding each other accountable and balance his appointments.
Mr Mbakali has appealed to President Hichilema and the UPND Government to include people with disabilities in the remaining appointments.
