CNBM Holds 2 Open Day Event

The CNBM open day event falls on August 26 every year, and this year marks the second event of its kind.

CNBM Holds 2 Open Day Event

During the event which will run until October 26, CNBM’s 93 branches from 72 cities in five countries around the world will hold online and offline activities, including cloud tours, cloud celebrations and cloud dialogue, to
display how they protect the environment through construction of green factories, use of eco- riendly and high-tech materials, sma rt ma n u f a c t u ri n g , a n demployment of sci-tech workers.

The Zambia Industrial Park in Lusaka, capital of Zambia is an important project of CNBM which has been dedicated to building factories that are eco-friendly, green and have sound ecosystems.

The industrial park has installed 72 sets of dust filter bags, one set of electric dust collector, and three sets of sewage treatment equipment. Its pollutant emission indicators are higher than Zambia’s national standards.

In addition, the industrial park has increased investment in greening, planting trees and turf on the wasteland in the park and reclaiming more than 40 mu (one hectare equals 15 mu) of land to grow vegetables.

Thanks to these greening measures and environmental protection equipment, the industrial park now boasts a sound ecological environment, contributing its efforts to local environmental protection.

To make good use of resources is to protect the environment. The CNBM open day event is significant because it reflects the company’s original aspiration to pursue green development, and it has becomes a bridge that brings together more parties to focus on appropriate use of resources, contribute their wisdom to harmonious development, and build and share a better life.

CNBM adheres to the concept of “making good use of resources and providing services for construction”, shoulders the corporate responsibility of “creating a beautiful world with materials,” and implements the
value of “innovation, performance, harmony and tolerance.”
