The Ndola High Court has stayed the ex-parte order allowing NDC President Chishimba Kambwili to continue.
This is in a matter where expelled officials of the NDC Joseph Rikki Akafumba, Bridget Atanga and others took Mr. Kambwili to court claiming that he was masquerading as president.
The Ndola High Court has stayed the order, and ordered the Akafumba group to pay costs.
This means that Chishimba Kambwili is the president of the NDC.
And NDC spokesperson Saboi Imboela said the party will, therefore, be announcing the date of the National Convention soon.
She said the party believes the Akafumba group deliberately tried to frustrate it by the ex-parte order.
