Zambia and Guinea look set to clash in Saturday’s second Group D match at the ongoing 2021 CHAN in Cameroon.
The match will kick off at 18:00 hours Zambian time.
Chipolopolo and Guinea are joint top of Group D on three points each after winning their respective opening matches on Tuesday.
Zambia launched the CHAN competition with a 2-0 win over Tanzania on the same night Guinea thumped Namibia 3-0 in Limbe.
“We are ready for a good game tomorrow, Saturday,” said Chipolopolo captain Adrian Chama of Zesco United.
“I am very sure that we will win and top the Group,” Chama told journalists during the pre-match briefing.
Guinea coach Mohamed Kanfory Bangoura appeared cautious ahead of the Zambia clash in Limbe.
“We respect our opponent Zambia and our first victory against Namibia has helped calm down the mood in the camp,” Bangoura said.
Meanwhile, Namibia will face Tanzania in the other Group D match at CHAN scheduled to kick off at 20h00 Zambian time.
