Chipolopolo have set up a training camp in Cameroon ahead of next week’s 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup against Equatorial Guinea.

Zambia will be in Douala for five days in readiness for the Group B match to be played on October 7 away in Malabo.

Coach Beston Chambeshi has carried 15 home-based players to Cameroon.

The nine foreign-based call-ups are expected to start arriving in Douala on October 2.

Zambia delegation leader and FAZ vice President Justin Mumba is positive as Chipolopolo gets ready for the Equatorial Guinea match.

“I think everybody in the nation is looking forward to the team doing well. So this is now dependent on the players,” Mumba said.

Zambia are second in Group B but tied on 3 points with third placed Equatorial Guinea after two games played.

Tunisia leads Group B on 6 points while Mauritania are bottom on zero points.
