Chipolopolo plots Mozambique downfall

By Mercy Chewe

The Chipolopolo Boys are planning to defeat Mozambique in the must win return leg of the CHAN qualifying campaign match at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka this Saturday.

Zambia and Mozambique drew goalless away in Maputo on Sunday as they hunt for 2022 CHAN qualification.

Zambia attacker Kelvin Kampamba said his team must be perfect upfront against Mozambique in Lusaka.

Kampamba lamented the wasted opportunities in the first half of the first leg tie.

“Now we know how Mozambique is playing and we know what to do in the return match,” the Zesco United star said.

Kampamba said:”In the return leg we just need to be clinical in front of goal and we need to unsettle them with an early goal.”

The winner between Zambia and Mozambique will advance to next month’s final CHAN qualifying round where Malawi awaits.
