Chipolopolo Patron Commends FAZ for giving Micho an exit door

By IREEN MULENGA
Chipolopolo Patron Pastor Peter Makembo has commended the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) for giving Chipolopolo coach Milutin Micho Sredojevic an exit door.

Speaking in an interview with The Independent Observer Makembo said that Zambia is a powerful house and as defending champions with an expertriet coach on the bench, there are not supposed to lose to small teams like Lesotho and Eswatin.

“Milutin Micho Underrated Zambia, at one time we were playing with high profile teams like Senegal, he left out some key players who were in the country like Daka, Mwepu and Sakala. After losing he gave excuses. So us owners of the team, we know that  the  team does not belong to an individual but to Zambians, so we  appreciate FAZ for sending off Micho and we wish him all the best inhis endures,” he said.

He said that for Zambia to qualify to the World Cup there is need to have Local Coaches on the bench like Kalusha Bwalya, Nedson Nyirenda, Honour Chaza, Moses Sichone and chiyengi.

Makembo said that the named person has minimum qualifications which CAF needs to be on national team in any Country.

The Chipolopolo Patron has appealed to FAZ to approach Kalusha Bwalya to be on the beach and constitute the coaching staff.

He said Kalusha is an expert and has got what it takes to bring the world cup, he said FAZ should give him the power to coach the team so that the Country to move a step further.
