Chipolopolo forward Lameck Banda is excited to feature in Zambia’s friendly matches against Congo and Benin.
Banda, who plays for Israeli side Maccabi Petah Tikva, Banda played 90 minutes in Zambia’s 3-1 win over Congo Brazzaville.
He also featured in Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Benin.
Banda has told FAZ Media that he is seeking to be a regular at the national team.
“I am very excited that I was called up to the national team this time around. I am happy that I played in both matches (Congo Brazzaville and Benin),” he said.
Banda has scored nine goals in the Israeli league.
“The future looks bright for me at the national team, I just need to improve and continue working hard to cement a place at the national team and club,” he said.
Banda added: “We will continue working hard because the fans want good results. The most important thing is to work hard.”
