The wall fence at the house of Chipata Mayor Chinoya Mwale has collapsed due to heavy rains.
The house of the Mayor is located along Obote Road.
Chipata Media has been reporting about the proximity and the illegality of the wall fence.
“The wall fence was poorly constructed without taking into account the basic engineering principles for constriction of fences. And it was also built very close to the road making it an illegal structure not complying with the road Act,” the sources have told The Independent Observer.
