Chingola Press Club has congratulated the newly elected Mayor of Chingola Johnson Kang’ombe and the Members of Parliament for Chingola and Nchanga constituencies, Chipoka Mulenga and Derricky Chilundika respectively.
Chingola Press Club Secretary General, Namutenga Sakapila said that the Press Club is ready to work together with the three offices.
Ms Sakapila said she is confident that the doors will be open when called up on by the various members of the club to clarify, highlight or explain any concerns from the public without partiality or favoritism.
“The Chingola press club are hopeful that we will work hand in hand with the three officers mentioned to foster the development of the district as a whole,” she said.
She said the Chingola Press club is an advocacy institution that promotes flow of information, informs, educate and raises awareness on the issues that affect the society and intervention of the three offices will help the media to disseminate information that are verified.
