The hard working Chingola Police have arrested the boyfriend to Rebeca Mwape who was killed in Chikola Loop Area.

The killer later went for Ms Mwape’s 10-year-old daughter who she had beaten and sexually defiled her leaving her unconscious.
Ms Mwape 31, of 4405 Chikola Loop area was beaten to death by her boyfriend Innocent Lungu who later followed the Grade 5 pupil in a Servant Quarter where he sexually defiled, beat her and left her for dead.
Copperbelt Police Chief Charity Katanga said the girl’s mother Ms Mwape died and she was buried after sustaining a deep cut on the forehead.
Ms Katanga said from her unconscious state at her hospital bed, the daughter would at shout her father (Lungu) to stop beating her mother.
The girl was admitted at Nchanga North General Hospital but police and the hospital authorities have sneaked her out because her life was in danger.
Ms Katanga said the suspect is in police custody and will appear in court later while the girl who is a key witness is under police guard and is receiving treatment.
