Chingola MP, Chipoka Mulenga, has continued his commitment to community upliftment as he generously bestowed K50,000 upon the marketeers of Kasompe Market.
Last week the Minister empowered Marketeers at Lulamba market and has pledged to continue with other markets in his constituency.
And this welcome gesture has excited registered Marketeers from Mimbula and Kasompe Markets who have taken up the recently built market shelters respectively.
Standing amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the market, Mr Mulenga conveyed his vision of transforming this financial injection into a collective force akin to a village banking system, ensuring that every member of the community reaps the benefits.
During the handover ceremony, Mr Mulenga articulated his dedication to the betterment of his constituency. He elaborated that by consistently setting aside a portion of his parliamentary earnings, he aspires to empower the constituents across board.
Echoing the sentiment that drove his actions to Kasompe Market, he affirmed his intention to extend similar gestures to other markets within his jurisdiction and commitment to community prosperity.
Also present was the District Administration Officer, the area Councilors for Mimbula and Kasompe ward, as well as some Constituency party officials. Others where Government Officials from the Ministry of Small Medium Enterprises from the Copperbelt Provincial Administration.
