Chingola Magistrate court has ordered for the arrest of five inmates that escaped lawful custody on December 20, 2019.
Magistrate Stephen Maona said that it is clear that the five escaped lawful custody and there was no misunderstanding.
This is in a matter in which Lucky Mutale 28, of Andrew Mwenya Road in Chiwempala, William Kasema 26, and Felix Kasema 24 both of 78 Andrew Mwenya road and five others were facing one count of Assault and occasioning actual body harm to person.
Particulars of the offence are that on November 16, 2019 at Chiwepala Market the eight accused willfully but unlawful assaulted a person.
Those that escaped are Amon Shila 28, of 35 Chiwempala Road, Moses Kunda 23, and Agrippa Nkandu 19 of 54 Andrew Mwenya Road.
Others are Maxwell Mulenga 26, of “R” Section and Oscar Sanga 29 of 21 Luangwa Road in Kasompe all of Chingola.
The Court has adjoined the matter to December 30, 2019 for possible ruling and extension of bond for William Kasema and Felix Kasema.
