By ALICE NACHILEMBE
Defence witness says he did not even question the credibility of the Chinese who engaged them to pose as security guard in the video.

Sydney Mupeta 26, one of the accused persons told the court he was desperate for a job so he didn’t even care about the content on the contract so he just signed.

Another accused person Muloiso Mkandawire 23, said the people that reported the case of illegal military training had misled the police.

He told the court that the men that appeared as security guards in the video were simply putting up an act.

He said though they repeated what the Chinese was telling them in Chinese language he was able to translate it with the language translating app on his phone, hence he was not worried.

He continued putting an act on the videos because the translation of the messages they were sending in Chinese was as explained by the Chinese messages to wish people well and some advertisement.
