Chingola Municipal Council has called on members of the public who may have a missing relative to check Nchanga north General Hospital.
The Council intends to bury one unclaimed body of Mr Jackson Mpundu from Nchanga North General Mortuary.
CMC Assistant Public Relations Manager Nambela Kyombela said the body is in Nchanga North General Mortuary waiting to be claimed by friends or relatives.
Ms Kyombela said the Local Authority has since issued a notice to members of the general public about the intention to bury Mr Jackson Mpundu if not claimed by relatives/friends within a period of 14 days.
“CMC is therefore appealing to members of the general public who may be missing a relative or friend to engage Nchanga North hospital management for possible identification of the body. Failure to which the local authority shall conduct the burial of the body at the expiration of the 14 days period,”.
