Chingola Municipal Council has given a high cost burial site for the late former Nchanga Member of Parliament Ladislas Patrick Kamata.
Chingola Town Clerk Mutakela Kabombo said Dr Kamata who was MP in 1996 was given a burial site at Chingola Central cemetery.
Mr Kabombo said all MPs who served before 2011 were also sitting in the Council as Councillors, making Dr Kamata qualify for the gesture which is now a precedence in most of the councils.
Burial for Dr Kamata is set for tomorrow October 3, 2019.
Dr Kamata was MP under MMD.
Funeral gathering is in Chingola Central Township.
