The Chingola Chamber of Commerce President, Freddie Musonda, has emphasized the need for a collaborative relationship between the police and the business community.
Despite concerns over the police’s responsiveness to their needs, Musonda remains optimistic about building a stronger partnership.
“We recognize the importance of working together to create a conducive business environment,” Musonda said during a stakeholders meeting organized by the police.
“We need the police to support us in addressing the recent surge in violence and murders in Chingola.” Musonda stressed that a fear-free environment is crucial for businesses to thrive and create opportunities for the community.
To achieve this, the business community is eager to engage with the police and find solutions to the current challenges.
Other stakeholders echoed Musonda’s sentiments, highlighting the need for improved collaboration between law enforcement and the business community.
By working together, they aim to create a safer and more conducive environment for growth and development. The meeting marked a positive step towards building a stronger relationship between the police and the business community in Chingola.
As they move forward, both parties are committed to finding ways to address the current challenges and create a more secure and prosperous environment for all.
