China has assured Zambian youths that visited that country of its support.
Speaking during the closing ceremony, the director for the International Poverty Reduction Centre in China (IPRCC) Tan Weiping assured the 32 Zambian youths of its support towards providing skills among the youths to become really contributors to the fight against poverty
Mr Weiping said by providing skills the Zambian youths will be become employers thereby contribute successfully to the country’s economic agenda.
He thanked the Zambian government for granting the youths an opportunity to be trained under the Integrated Rural and Rural development and poverty Reduction for Zambia.
“A very successful nation attaches its commitment towards building a stable pool of industrious youths to become future leaders. The recognition of the youths as key players is the beginning of change,” he said.
Copperbelt PF Youth Chairperson Don Mungulube was leading a team of 32 youths in China who were attending a Seminar in Beijing, China on Integrated Rural and Urban Development and Poverty Reduction for Zambia.
They have since returned to Zambia.
And Mr Mungulube has promised to hit the ground running by beginning the implementation of what he learnt immediately.
We want to sure the government that lessons learnt will be pushed to work in Zambia with Zambia’s characteristics,” he said.
