Chilombo Independent Tournament is in gear as the tournament is remaining with few weeks to kick off.
The tournament organizers organized a one-day seminar for officials and referees over the weekend.
A resident of Katembula community of Lufwanyama Thomson Yambayamba has expressed happiness at Henry Chilombo’s gesture of sponsoring a football tournament.
Yambayamba was speaking shortly after he facilitated at the seminar for officials and referees held at Kapilamikwa Secondary school in Lufwanyama.
He said the development will not only stop Youths from engaging in bad behavior but will add value to the wellbeing of young people.
Yambayamba said there is need for more people to put interest of the young people as shown by Chilombo.
The tournament will run from July to November 30, 2019 and it has attracted 26 local teams from Katembula up to Kambilombilo Resettlement.
