Chililabombwe PF youths share with orphans

Chililabombwe PF youths have donated assorted food stuffs and face masks to One Way Mission Children’s Home.

Chililabombwe Constituency PF Youth Chairperson Samson Chisambo said that the responsibility of supporting the children should not be left to the orphanage alone.

Mr Chisambo said that the children need to be support in order for them to feel like wanted and embraced.

He said the donation was done on behalf of Chililabombwe Member of Parliament Richard Musukwa.

“Your MP feels that the children need to be given parental love and care. Children at the orphanage needs everyone’s support. This calls for more stakeholders and well-wishers to come on board.

“The PF youths in Chililabombwe want to take up the leading role in helping rather than asking for handouts. The donation is only to supplement what the children’s home is doing,” he said.

He said the MP was committed to supprting children.

Mr Chisambo advised the children’s home staff to adhere to the measures that have been put up to fight the coronavirus.

And One Way Mission Children’s home Director Loneness Sakala thanked the youths for the gesture of helping the underprivileged at the orphanage.

Ms Sakala said the home is facing challenges of inadequate funding because the funder of the Mission home at the moment was unable to support the.

Among the items donated were 10 boxes of organic nutrition foods and 30 bags x 10kg mealie-meal.
