Chililabombwe Member of Parliament Richard Musukwa has donated two power generator sets to Lubengele Clinic and Kakoso Mini hospital.
Speaking during the donation, Mr Musukwa said he had procured two Gen sets at a cost of K40, 000 to light up health centres and mitigate the effects of power load management being carried out by Zesco.

Mr Musukwa who is also Mines Minister said low rainfall is a natural calamity and not a making of Government and the only remedy is for the leaders and their communities to act to mitigate the effects.
He said he would lobby Zesco to exclude health centres from the current four hours load management so that the Gen set can only be used for emergencies.
Lubengele was given a 4.6 kilovolts petrol powered Gen Set while Kakoso was given the Gen set with the same capacity but Diesel powered.
The MP is also building an Out Patient Department at Lubengele clinic which Chililabombwe Municipal Council acting Director of Engineering Services said that the building was at 80 per cent.
Recently, he had donated linen to the same clinic.
And Chililabombwe Health Director Martha Chakulimba said power is key component in the life serving business.
Dr Chakulimba said when leaders come on board like the way Mr Musukwa had done it motivates the health workers to do more.
She said at the moment, the Chililabombwe is laundering its linen from the health centres in Chingola at Nchanga North General hospital.
“The hospital laundry in Chingola is also the one that does the laundry for all the clinics in Chingola. This means we wait for our linen to be done when we take them in Chingola. Our effect at the moment is to see if we can buy own laundry machine,” she said.
