Charity Munganga’s house gutted

The house for Assistant Commissioner of Police Charity Munganga Chanda has been gutted.

Ms Chanda the former Police Spokesperson landed yesterday around 13:30 hours from Sudan where she has been for peace keeping mission.

Sadly at night her Chamba Valley house caught fire and most of the property was left in debris.

The cause of the fire remain unknown and the value of gutted property has not yet been quantified.

Speaking to The Independent Observer, Ms Chanda said she could establish exactly what happened and how it happened.

Speaking amid sobs, Ms Chanda said that a few property was rescued buy most of it was gutted.

She was grateful that none of her household was caught up in the inferno.
